WildWay’s Vegetarian Taco Recipe

Taco filling:

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Canned red kidney beans, drained
  • Green bell pepper, chopped (not the whole thing :P )
  • Mushrooms, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, black pepper
  • Hot sauce (optional)
  • Ketchup

Toppings: 

  • Shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • Salsa
  • Diced tomatoes
Also:
  • Taco shells
1) Mix the spices except for garlic together in a cup, testing it until a good blend is achieved.
2) Cook the onions, garlic, green pepper, and mushrooms together with oil in a pan until tender.
3) Stir in those beans and the spice blend.
4) Take out your anger on  those beans by mashing them with your wooden spoon.
5) Add your ketchup until it looks like your bean mashing caused a massacre. (add little by little until you think it’s tasty)
6) Stir it all up into one big mess and take it off the burner. Spoon into shells.
7) Top it with whatever and eat the heck out of it.

Moon Cookies Experiment

For full moon ritual cakes and ale. Eat with milk!

I was going to make these for my full moon ritual, but I was bored and impatient. Maybe I’ll just save some until the day comes. This is a modified recipe, and I have no idea how they will turn out, I’ll let everyone know tomorrow when I bake them. 

Ingredients: 2 eggs, 9 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp lemon juice, lemon rind, a little honey, 2 c flour, 2 globby spoonfuls coconut syrup, sugar if you cream your butter that way

Cream the butter in a bowl, then add eggs and lemon ingredients. Mix well. Next, add flour gradually, mixing it in. Add syrup and some honey (I couldn’t get a lot of honey out of the bottle so I added less than a spoonful). The dough will be very thick and hard to mix. I tried using a mixer but it was all clumpy. So I ended up finishing the mixing with my own (clean) hands. 

The dough will smell amazing at this point.

Leave dough in a bowl, in the fridge overnight. The next day, you put small dough balls on a greased baking sheet and bake it for 8 minutes at 375 degrees fahrenheit. I’m going to keep checking it, though, because I haven’t tested this recipe yet. We’ll see how it goes!
